The price reflected the very high calibre stay. Very prompt communication, excellent location excellent service and gorgeous accomodation.
I would like to offer suggestions given that I have raved about your guest house to almost everyone of my family and friends since returning, I have a gluten and dairy intolerance. I regret that I was unable to get a non dairy alternative I.e. Rice / Almond milk for my cereal, these are UHT so easily sorted in a cuppard so I'd reccomend that they be kept in case of the arrival of one of my type!! Foodies with food intolerances I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and was provided with gf toast with my breakfast. The poached pears apple and cinnamon, as well as all the preserves etc were magnificent, not to mention my eggs and smoked salmon.
I'd like to offer you one recipe that you 'might' consider for us poor souls tortured with intolerances. It's gf df crepes/pancakes, because having witnessed a delivery of pancakes at the table next door I thought it could be done!
One cup of Buckwheat flour , two eggs, dollop olive oil, and cup or more of rice milk, blended in a small blitze, served with either soya ice cream and fruit or simply with some of your divine fruit.
It's a really simple but delicious treat at weekends and I think having rice milk and buckwheat flour in the old store cuppard could easily grant you the title of food intolerance guesthouse of the year.
It's just a suggestion, but honestly the day I left, all rested and warm from bath, fluffy dressing gown, and delicious food I couldn't imagine any improvement on what you already do so well.
Perhaps it was the espresso bar on arrival and tea that really impressed but again on departure that added touch of a take away tea going out the door well that just sealed it..if I ever get the chance again...il honeymoon at castlewood!!SSSSS

Delicious breakfast - my husband especially loved the rhubarb and I loved the pancakes!
Short walk to town - very quiet in late November but we enjoyed it!

We recommend this B&B very highly. We stayed here for three nights in November and the B&B was very busy, which was great to see. They standards are amazing and the hosts were extremely welcoming at all times during our stay. The rooms are super and everything is of a very high standard. Bathrooms are really good with nice touches and separate whirlpool bath and shower in the room stayed in. The views from the bedroom we stayed in we pretty amazing and the room was no 7. Breakfast is amazing and their is plenty to pick from with the buffet and the well designed hot breakfast menu. It is located about 5-10 mins walk to the town depending on what part of the town you want to visit. Well done and thanks for a great stay in the most beautiful place in the world. Everyone was very friendly and always had the time for a chat and ask what the plans for the day were. They also gave super inside local knowledge and secrets about Dingle. We are already looking forward to returning.SSSSS
Directions: Castlewood House is located just a short distance from Dingle town centre, overlooking Dingle Bay and is within easy walking distance of all restaurants and pubs.
Dingle is a vibrant town which provides an excellent base for visiting the Ring of Kerry and the beautiful Dingle peninsula, Tralee and Killarney. Dingle provides a wide range of activities including golf, horse riding and of course swimming with Fungi, our resident Dolphin. Golfers Tee Times can be arranged at the 18-hole Dingle Golf Links, Ceann Sibeal. It is the most westerly golf course in Europe, and is carved from the natural landscape of one of the most unspoiled parts of Europe, with hazards laid down long before the game of golf was dreamt of.
